Technical Decisions to Suit Target audience

To suit our target audience we have made some technical decisions in both shooting and editing to appeal and interest our target audience. This includes using people who are the same age and have a similar lifestyle in our box pops. This makes the documentary relatable to the target audience which will in turn interest them in the documentary. We will also use fast editing to keep the target audience interested as due to them being teenagers they may have a short attention span.  The use of a narrator who is also a student makes the documentary both interesting and relatable for the target audience. Throughout the documentary we will also use layman's terms to suit the target audience so that the language used through out the documentary directly suits them. Doing all of this should ensure that the tarot audience are both interested and satisfied with the documentary so that they will watch from start to end.

We have started uploading all of our final footage. We have also begun importing all of our uploaded footage onto adobe premier and started watching over the footage we have got. update 5

We have now finished all of our filming and have successfully filmed all footage we believe is needed, however this did not come without its problems as serval interviewies could not participate in  their interviews due to other commitments, therefore we had to find other experts to interview. This resulted in change of schedules and events. We also encounter problems when filming background footage as we had to seek permission to film certain areas around solihull.

Aggressive behaviour of young people whilst playing video games

We found this video on Youtube and we feel this is a good example of the violence and aggression violent video games can have on young adults. We may include parts of this video to shock our audience; which is an effective method into interesting our target audience, as they will be shocked by the violence people there age are commiting due to video games.

Update 3

This week we have finished all of our research and finalised our plans for filming and interviewing. This means we have copies of questions for each specific expert we are interviewing and for the box pops. We have also finalised a filming schedule; this allows to have a clear direction of what we want to film on what day, this will enable us to finish filming in the quickest and most effective way possible as we will have filmed all needed footage footage.
